The Pilates Ring/Magic Circle is a stretchable rubber circle with an average diameter of about 14 inches. This tool was originally created by Joseph Pilates, and was used for Pilates exercises. Basically, the outside of the Pilates Ring/Magic Circle is made of flexible plastic on the outside and inside the plastic tube is flexible spring steel. This spring/flexible device also functions as training resistance by applying pressure from the outside to the inside, or from the inside to the outside. You can use this resistance equipment while lying on your back, stomach, or side on either side of your body.
